JOLIET CASTLE

Located in the town of FRONTON, 29 km from TOULOUSE, this former Frontonnaise property was taken over by François and Marie-Claire DAUBERT.
For more than 20 years, their constant efforts have positioned Château Joliet among the best châteaux of the appellation. Retired since September 2010, they have transmitted their heritage to Marie-Ange and Jérôme SORIANO, Frontonnais winemakers, who put all their heart into preserving the prestige and tradition of Château JOLIET.
Today, the 12 hectares of vines, planted at 4500 stumps/hectare, are cultivated in controlled cultivation, with a concern for the environment, with a control of the yields by grassing and manual thinning.

These vines aged from 8 to 37 years old, half of which are cultivated in Négrette, are used to make our wines with the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Fronton, as well as our wines with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
The wines of Château Joliet are smooth and fruity, they highlight the typicity and originality of the Négrette, the flagship grape variety of the appellation, which blends with other noble grape varieties (Gamay, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon) borrowed from other vineyards.
