ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH
Saint Jean Baptiste Church (13th-20th Centuries)
About
The Montréjeau church was most certainly built as soon as the royal bastide was built. At the time it probably didn’t resemble what we know today because over the centuries in has undergone numerous modifications. This church has two patron saints: Saint John the Baptist and Saint Bartholomew. It tells the story of seven centuries of the history of life in this town with its concerns of safety, its hours of prosperity and the riches saved from oblivion.
