DEPARTMENTAL MUSEUM OF RESISTANCE AND DEPORTATION
At this remembrance site, we are reminded of the drama of the Second World War through documents, photographs, objects... We discover the weapons, both real and figurative, during the Resistance period.
About
Re-opened after 18 months of renovation and extension work, the Departmental Museum of Resistance & Deportation offers, on 1,000 m², a permanent and temporary exhibition route on two levels. Indeed, in addition to the permanent exhibition, it offers a program of two temporary exhibitions per year on original subjects.
The MDR&D is also a space for the collection, conservation and promotion of our heritage, but also a place for meeting and reflection with a rich and eclectic scientific, cultural and artistic program, in the evenings and weekends, in its conference room and garden.
It thus fulfills a triple mission of history, remembrance and citizenship.
