THE CHURCH'S PEDIMENT
In 1899, during the separation between the Church and the State, the mayor decided to happend the republican motto on the pediment, to the great displeasure of the abbot. When this abbot left the town, he engraved on the rib "This is the house of God, the house of prayers".
