MILL AND MILLER'S HOUSE

Taking advantage of the strength of the wind blowing in the valley or the water, several mills have been built in the region to help the inhabitants in their work.

About

Today, some mills are still present in our landscape: they are carefully preserved as witnesses of a work of the earth from another time.
Among the mills that are still visible, you can admire them:
- The Mourvilles-Hautes Mill, a windmill and tower with two pairs of wheels, whose roof was restored in 1997. A second tower mill located in front of the miller's house, more recent, is covered with a tiled roof;
- The windmills of Saint-Félix-Lauragais, located on the well known "mound of the three windmills";
- The Moulin du Chapitre in Sorèze, a water mill.

For more information on these mills, visit the Tourist Office.
