LAC DES ISLES

You can see a beautiful panoramic view from the banks of this 20 year old man-made lake: the silhouette of the Count's old castle against the sky, and at its foot, medieval houses and the narrow streets like staircases making up the main part of the old town. Towards the south, other neighbourhoods of the present-day town which have been built over the centuries. Today the lake is a place for relaxation for amateur fishermen and hikers. A picnic area is also available.
