Situated on the banks of the Garonne, this cultural site enables you to discover or rediscover a part of the history of the town of Cazères-sur-Garonne (31), which, until the 19th century, was the capital of the Garonne's inland waterway transport, where most of the boats sailing on the river were b


A museographic space, with a permanent tour around the role of the river in the life of the local population and a space for temporary exhibitions. The interior is divided into four themes which explain the different facets of the river: the capricious Garonne, commercial, developed or protected.
